Located in the beautiful resort village of Laguna Beach, California, McKeown Plumbing has served coastal Orange County for more than 45 years. The company handles service and repair for residential and commercial projects, remodels, and new construction. Their decades of experience empowers them to diagnose and solve a variety of challenging plumbing problems that other companies often cannot handle. The company was founded by Jack McKeown, a plumber from Laguna Beach. Jack loved plumbing as much as he loved serving his local community. Upon retirement, Jack transferred the company to his long-time employee to continue his legacy of providing great local service.
The company has grown by handling projects up and down the coast from Corona del Mar to San Clemente. Scaling a business while maintaining quality and workmanship is their priority and an exciting challenge to have. Seeking out skilled plumbers to grow the team can be time-consuming. “We are uncompromising on quality,” said Jessica. “Our company values integrity, teamwork, customer service, a high level of property protection and bringing innovative technology and processes to the industry. We seek team members who live these values.” In July 2020, McKeown Plumbing heard about Workyard and decided to give it a try. "By finding qualified employees for our company, Workyard made our hiring process easy," said Jessica. McKeown Plumbing hired Jarrad Cannon, a plumber through Workyard. "Jarrad is reliable, organized, and respectful of our customers and his fellow employees. He is adapting to our technology quickly and provides great plumbing service to the customers," said Jessica.
"The process was very smooth," Jessica said. She enjoyed working with Workyard's staffing team and recruiters. "They were easy to work with. They followed up and kept us informed. We are a company that relies on communicating well and we appreciate it when other companies provide good communication," she said.
