Renewal by Andersen came to us with a specific need for tradesmen who are knowledgeable in the window installation process. They trusted us to find them reliable and skilled workers, and we’ve consistently been able to find them great people. We continue to provide Andersen with a steady stream of workers (along with payroll services) and are also now providing them software that tracks job progress, costs and worker location.

Why did your company decide to hire workers through Workyard?

We were having difficulty finding specific talent for our company including roles like window repairers, trim carpenters, stucco technicians and window installers. Workyard has been a big part of the solution of finding quality workers.

What type of workers have you hired through Workyard?

We have hired window repairers, trim carpenters, stucco technicians, drywall finishers and window installers.

How long have you been using Workyard?

We have been using Workyard for about 4 months now.

We have specific talent needs as a window installation company and Workyard has been able to find that talent. Bill from Workyard took the time to understand our business and goals which I think helped him to be able to find us the right people.

What do you like most about Workyard? How has the service helped your company?

Workyard has proven they can recruit the right type of workers for us. We have specific talent needs as a window installation company and Workyard has been able to find that talent. What could we improve about the service? Is anything missing?

We would like more software to help track progress of jobs that Workyard workers have been placed on. We’d really like to break down worker location at a given time and understand the exact costs for each job. I know this is something the Workyard team is focusing on, so I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Additionally, we would like you to send us more window installers!

Does Workyard make your human resources operations for workers easier? How so?

Hiring workers through Workyard takes all the HR burden of hiring direct employees off of the shoulders of our HR team. This is something they appreciate. When we hire people through Workyard, they are up and running almost immediately.

How have the workers you hired through Workyard performed? Are you happy with them?

Our first worker hired through Workyard hit the ground running after he started. He’s been able to contribute to our business on many fronts. Overall, we’ve been happy with the workers we’ve hired through Workyard, and we can depend on them to do the job they were hired for. I don’t think we would have been able to find workers of this caliber in the same time frame without using Workyard.
