We are looking for apprentice carpenters (2+ years of experience) to assist lead carpenter in multi-family remodels and soft-story retrofits. Starting ASAP.

JOB DUTIES:

• Renovation process from demo to clean up
• Fixture installation and installing cabinets
• Window and door installation
• Baseboards and crown molding
• Framing
• Occasional materials pickup and transfer
• Cover the driving area of greater Contra Costa County

MUST HAVES:

• 2+ years of carpentry experience
• Follows directions
• Ability to measure and cut with precision
• Experience framing floors, walls, ceilings, roofs
• Experience operating circular saw, reciprocating saw, chop saw, nail gun
• Reliable. You show up on time every day and work hard
• Tools (Levels, tape measure, drill, nail bar, screwdrivers, framing hammer, square, etc)
• PPE: hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses
• Valid drivers license
• Truck or Van (with mileage compensation)

JOB DETAILS:

• Rate: $25 p/h
• Full time/40 hours
• Paid weekly
• Typical work week M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM
• We are looking for people dedicated to becoming journeymen carpenters
