DUTIES

• This position is exclusively exterior painting of residential and single-family dwellings (manufactured mobile homes).
• Assists Journeyman Painter and other crew members on-site
• Prepares the surrounding area by taping off and masking areas, covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Removes any old paint, sanding, scraping and power washing surfaces to prepare for paint
• Assists in filling joints with caulk
• Assists in painting various surfaces through several methods of painting (rolling, spraying, and brushing)
• Helps cleans job-site at the end of each day
• Cover driving area of 50 Miles

MUST HAVES

• 1-3 years of experience of residential exterior painting
• Ability to spray, back-roll, mix, apply various finishes, etc.
• Experience painting various substrates -i.e. aluminum, vinyl, wood, and stucco is a major plus
• Valid CA Driver's license and transportation
• Good communication skills
• Ability to be on time and ready to work
• Must be comfortable with working on ladders
• Ability to learn our process and work together with crew
• Tools: Ladder; paint brush + roller;Painters Tape;Paint Tray;respirator 2 gallon cut bucket, roller frames, they'll supply skins, need good brushes, need to cut straight lines, basic hand tools as well, putty knife

JOB DETAILS

• Rate : 18 p/h
• Typical work week from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• This project should last 4 weeks with opportunity for more work
• Mileage expenses covered
