How to Cancel Joist

The process of canceling your Joist account depends on what type of account you have. It may also vary depending on whether you subscribed through Google Play or Apple Store. Below are details on how to cancel Joist according to your account type or platform.  

Cancelling Joist Basics

If you are using the free version of Joist, known as Joist Basics, you can cancel your account by simply discontinuing the use of the app. Since there are no recurring charges with the free version, there is no need to formally cancel a subscription. However, it is recommended to export any essential data before you stop using the app to ensure you don’t lose any critical information.

Cancelling Joist Pro

For Joist Pro users, canceling the subscription involves a few more steps. First, if you subscribed through the Joist website, you would need to log in to your account, navigate to the subscription settings, and select the option to cancel your plan. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Joist Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account will revert to Joist Basics, and you will lose access to premium features.

If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you must cancel your subscription through these platforms. 

For Google Play, navigate to the subscriptions section in your account settings, find Joist, and select “Cancel Subscription.” 

On iOS devices, go to your Apple ID settings, select “Subscriptions,” find Joist, and choose to cancel the subscription.
