How To Delete a Project in Clockify

To delete a project in Clockify, go to the Projects tab, click the three dots next to the project, and select “Archive.” Then, click the three dots again to find the “Delete” option. Here’s a more detailed guide to removing a project from your Clockify workspace:

1. Navigate to the Projects tab on the left sidebar.
2. Find the project you want to delete and click the three dots beside it.
3. Click the “Archive” option to archive the project.
4. Click the three dots again next to the archived project and you will now see the “Delete” option.
5. Click “Delete” and confirm the action. This will permanently remove the project and all associated time entries.

Note that only admins and project managers have the ability to delete projects and tasks in Clockify. If you don’t see the delete option, make sure you have the necessary permissions.

If you want to delete tasks across multiple projects at once, you can use Clockify’s Bulk Edit feature:

1. Go to the Projects page and select the projects containing the tasks you want to delete.
2. Click “Bulk Edit” and check the “Tasks” option.
3. Choose “Overwrite existing” and click “Save”.
4. Type “DELETE” to confirm and click “Save” again.

This will delete all tasks on the selected projects. The time entries will remain but will no longer be associated with a task.
