This question is about Time Clock Apps for Small Business, Clock-In Clock-Out Apps and Field Service Management Software for Small Business.
How to Clock In and Out on Workday App
To clock in and out using the Workday mobile app, launch the app and go to “Time” or “Time Tracking” on the menu. Tap the “Check In” button at the bottom of the screen. If needed, you can add a location and comment, then tap the checkmark to complete your clock-in.
When ready to clock out, open the app again, tap the “Check Out” button at the bottom, and select the appropriate option, such as “Meal” or “Out,” for your clock-out. Tap the checkmark to confirm your clock-out. You’ll also see a summary of your total time for that shift.
Submitting Time
- To submit your time, go to the “Enter Time” section.
- You’ll see a weekly breakdown of your time entries.
- Review the time and add any comments if needed, then tap “Submit.”
- Your manager will then review and approve your submitted time.
Some key things to note:
- The Workday mobile app uses geofencing, so you can only clock in if you are at your primary work location. If you work remotely or outside of this area, you must use the web application to clock in and out.
- Biometric options like fingerprint scanning are available for added security.
- Workday syncs your time data in real time to your timesheet for accurate payroll.
- With the intuitive Workday mobile app, clocking in and out is simple and convenient for hourly employees. The automated time tracking ensures you get paid accurately for all hours worked.
